Everlast Gyms in Sunderland is seeking an Assistant General Manager to support the General Manager in delivering exceptional results across sales, member experience, operations and team performance.

This hands-on leadership role leads from the front, develops high-performing teams and creates an outstanding environment for members and colleagues, with clear progression and industry-leading development opportunities within Frasers Group.

Qualifications

• Previous leadership experience within fitness, leisure, hospitality or retail.
• Strong track record of leading teams and delivering business results.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Commercial awareness with the ability to influence performance.
• Flexible approach to working patterns, including evenings, weekends and Bank Holidays.
• Level 2 Fitness Qualification.
• Experience working within a gym, health club or leisure environment.
• Knowledge of membership sales, retention and fitness operations.
• Pool plant and Health & Safety experience.

Responsibilities

• Support the overall club performance and lead from the front to drive results.
• Develop and motivate a high-performing team to deliver outstanding member service.
• Balance commercial performance with member experience and operational excellence.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety and presentation across the club.
