Job summary

Christy Media Solutions is recruiting a Support Technician for a growing remote production business supporting major production and broadcast clients. Joining a small engineering team, you'll provide hands-on technical support across virtualised environments, networking, data centre infrastructure, edit systems and storage, while supporting users both remotely and face-to-face.

The role works on a rotational shift pattern across offices based in Surrey, Central London and remote working,

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with virtualised environments and networks.
• Experience supporting Windows and macOS in data centre settings.
• Background in media production workflows is favorable.

Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on technical support across virtualised environments, networking, data centres, edit systems and storage.
• Support users remotely and face-to-face.
• Collaborate in a small engineering team to resolve incidents quickly.
• Participate in rotational shifts across Surrey, Central London and remote locations.

Christy Media Solutions is recruiting a Support Technician for a growing remote production business supporting major production and broadcast clients.

Joining a small engineering team, you'll provide hands-on technical support across virtualised environments, networking, data centre infrastructure, edit systems and storage, while supporting users both remotely and face-to-face.

We're looking for:

• Strong virtualisation and networking experience
• Windows/macOS and data centre support knowledge
• Experience building, maintaining and troubleshooting computer systems
• Confident client-facing communication skills
• Previous exposure to media production environments or workflows
• A calm, analytical approach to troubleshooting

Experience with Linux, Avid, Adobe Premiere, shared storage, scripting or Nutanix/VM environments would be advantageous.

The role works on a rotational shift pattern across offices based in Surrey, Central London and remote working, covering shifts between 8am and 10pm.
