Job summary
Anson McCade Pty is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join a UK technology consultancy delivering government-focused solutions. The role is hybrid and permanent, with ownership across the software development lifecycle and a strong emphasis on modern tech such as Java, React and cloud services.
You will work in an Agile team, contribute to design, development, and CI/CD pipelines, and collaborate with customers and stakeholders to deliver high-quality software using GitLab and cloud
Qualifications
- Senior engineer with strong commercial experience in Java.
- Experience with TypeScript/JavaScript and React.
- Experience with AWS and/or Azure.
- Experience with Agile software development.
- Experience with modern CI/CD and software engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Full-stack development using Java, TypeScript/JavaScript and React.
- Design, develop and test high-quality software.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines (GitLab).
- Work with AWS and Azure cloud environments.
- Contribute across the full software lifecycle—from requirements to deployment.
- Collaborate with customers and technical stakeholders.
- Take technical leadership responsibility where appropriate.
