Job summary

Westcoast is seeking a Business Development Manager in Security, hybrid role based in Theale/Reading area. You will drive growth by selling IT security solutions through the channel across UK & Ireland, opening new reseller opportunities and building strong partner relationships.

You’ll visit customer sites, present our cloud security offerings, run training events, and support partners to accelerate Microsoft cloud initiatives. Travel across UK & Ireland is expected.

Qualifications

• Track record in sales within the IT channel (distributor or reseller).
• Excellent communicator with strong relationship-building skills.
• Able to adapt approach for both skilled and unskilled users.
• Entrepreneurial and ambitious; driven to succeed.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and practical learning from past experiences.

Responsibilities

• Qualify Partner opportunities and build relationships with Partners.
• Maintain high levels of customer service for Partners and manage queries.
• Own Partner challenges and pro actively address issues.
• Signpost effectively within the cloud team and other parts of the business.
• Assist in creating business plans.
• Visit customer sites for meetings/presentations to promote Microsoft offerings.
• Monitor progress against SLAs to ensure service levels.
• Record activities on CRM.
• Maintain and develop technical skills/certifications as required.
