Job summary

IBM Consulting FutureNow is seeking a DevOps Engineer to design, build and support modern cloud platforms and delivery pipelines in the UK. You’ll automate infrastructure with IaC, implement secure CI/CD pipelines, and containerize solutions using Docker and Kubernetes.

You’ll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, drive automation, and share knowledge across engineering groups while working in security-conscious environments and benefiting from IBM’s learning and career development

Qualifications

• Experience in DevOps, Platform/Cloud engineering or similar roles.
• Hands-on with CI/CD tools and IaC (Terraform and CloudFormation).
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).

Responsibilities

• Build, automate and transform modern delivery platforms.
• Contribute to automation and tooling to improve operational reliability.
• Collaborate with developers, architects, security specialists and client teams to solve complex problems.
• Embed security into the development lifecycle and promote best practices.
• Support monitoring, logging and observability to improve service performance.
