Job summary

IBM Consulting UK FutureNow is building a career-forward AWS DevOps Infrastructure team in the UK. You will design, deploy, and maintain containerised applications on AWS, working with Kubernetes and DevOps toolchains to ensure robust, scalable cloud environments.

The role emphasizes hands-on AWS design, IaC automation, and managing HA/DR strategies within hybrid cloud settings, supporting senior, high-impact programmes across sectors.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience designing and deploying containerised workloads on AWS.
• Strong experience with Infrastructure as Code and automation.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes cluster management and networking.
• Solid understanding of AWS core services and cloud-native architectures.
• Experience integrating CI/CD pipelines and DevOps toolchains.

Responsibilities

• Design and deploy containerised applications on AWS and manage AWS components.
• Provision AWS infrastructure with cloud-native patterns and models.
• Ensure integration with DevOps toolchains and CI/CD pipelines.
• Administer hybrid cloud environments with storage, compute and security considerations.
• Configure HA/DR solutions and manage Kubernetes clusters.
