Amazon Web Services (AWS) ProServe is seeking a Change & Release Manager to govern and lead the delivery of complex cloud migration projects for HMRC, standing up the Change & Release Management function and guiding transitions into steady state.

You will chair CAB meetings, manage end-to-end change lifecycles across Dev to Prod, implement ITIL-aligned governance, and coordinate CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployment practices while ensuring audit-ready documentation and risk controls.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in a Change and Release Management role within large-scale IT transformation, data centre migration, or cloud adoption programmes.
• Strong working knowledge of ITIL service management frameworks, particularly Change Enablement, Release Management, and Deployment Management.
• Experience governing change and release processes in an AWS or public cloud environment, with practical understanding of cloud-native deployment patterns.

Responsabilités

• Own and govern end-to-end change and release management processes, aligned with governance and best practice.
• Chair and facilitate Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings and coordinate complex change schedules across teams and suppliers.
• Manage stage gates from Dev to Prod, ensuring evidence, sign-off, and risk controls.
• Collaborate with CI/CD and cloud deployment teams to ensure audit-ready releases and regulatory compliance.
