Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Change & Release Manager to stand up governance for the migration into the Run & Operate state, coordinating across HMRC and the AWS estate. You will chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) meetings, govern end-to-end change and release lifecycles, and ensure compliant deployments with ITIL 4, CI/CD practices and audit-ready evidence across platforms.

Eligibility for UK Government Security Clearance is required, and the role involves working with UK public sector

Qualifications

• Experience in Change & Release Management within large IT transformations or cloud adoption.
• Strong knowledge of ITIL framework; Change Enablement, Release, Deployment.
• Ability to chair CAB meetings and manage complex schedules across teams.

Responsibilities

• Govern end-to-end change and release lifecycle, with approvals and deployments.
• Lead change governance across Dev/Test/Prod and audit evidence.
• Coordinate with HMRC CAB, stakeholders, and vendors to schedule changes.
