Job summary

Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a Change & Release Manager to govern the end-to-end lifecycle of complex cloud solution changes and releases across HMRC migrations and production environments. You will lead governance, CAB coordination, and assurance activities to ensure safe, compliant transitions in a large enterprise context.

Qualifications

• Experience in Change and Release Management for large IT transformations.
• Strong ITIL v4 knowledge and governance.
• Proven ability to chair CAB meetings with multiple teams.

Responsibilities

• Govern end-to-end lifecycle of changes and releases (assessment, planning, approval, deployment, validation, closure).
• Classify changes (Standard, Normal, Emergency) with proper approvals.
• Manage ITSM change and release processes using ITIL 4 best practices.
• Coordinate with HMRC/governance and supplier teams to maintain audit readiness.
• Oversee risk assessments for non-standard changes and document rollback plans.
• Lead Post Implementation Reviews (PIRs) and drive continuous improvement.
