Job summary

University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting a Band 3 Research Administrator to join the Core Research Team at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. You will support data management and administrative tasks for multiple research studies across specialties and help develop invoicing records to ensure study income is recovered promptly.

The role requires excellent communication, IT proficiency, and the ability to work under pressure within a busy research environment.

Qualifications

• Good general education as listed (GCSE English & Maths).
• Business Administration NVQ level 3 or equivalent experience in an administrative environment.
• Experience with IT and Microsoft Office packages.

Responsibilities

• Provide data management and research administration support for clinical study activities.
• Develop robust invoicing records for clinical trials and ensure timely income recovery.
• Demonstrate excellent IT knowledge and ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines.
