The Post holder will support the inpatientunits with a variety of clerical tasks such as minute taking, scanning,photocopying, word processing and data inputting/extraction on SystmOne. ThePost holder must therefore be an efficient administrator who is able to work wellon their own initiative as well as within the team. It is important they are able to communicate effectivelywith the team, the wider organisation, Service Users and their families andcarers.

The InpatientSecretary will be to provide a secretarial, administrative and clerical supportservice to the Clinical Acute Inpatient areas within Navigo.
The post-holder will receive, record andprocess referral, admission and discharge information maintaining service userrecords are up to date at all times.
Thepost-holder will be responsible for maintaining up to date knowledge on Navigopolicies, process and procedures and working within these at all times.
The postholder will be pivotal in ensuring an excellent administrative service isprovided within agreed set time restraints and will be responsible for accuraterecording, maintenance and monitoring of the Teams data.
Thepost-holder will record and process referral data from Single Point ofAccess/relevant health care professionals, as appropriate to the work of theTeam.
Thepost-holder will undertake diary management to the clinical and medical teamand will undertake any other general administrative duties within therequirements of the Team.
Thepost-holder will undertake any other relevant duties required from time to timeas requested by Management which correspond to the general character of thepost and is commensurate with the level of responsibility
