Job summary

NHS Tayside is recruiting a Systems Support Specialist to join the Clinical Engineering Service at Ninewells Hospital. The role provides systems implementation, technical services and application support across NHS Tayside's digital medical equipment estate.

The post holder will administer networked devices, medical software and clinical systems, respond to incidents, support cybersecurity, and work with clinical technologists, Digital Directorate colleagues and suppliers to ensure resilient

Qualifications

Degree-level qualification or equivalent knowledge in relevant field.
Understanding of data networking and operating system technologies.
Considerable prior experience in a technical environment.

Responsibilities

Provide systems implementation, technical services and application support across NHS Tayside systems.
Administer, maintain and provide technical support for networked medical equipment and supporting systems.
Offer specialist technical support for network-connected medical devices, clinical systems, and digital platforms.
Respond to incidents and service requests, contribute to cybersecurity, procurement, and business continuity.
Collaborate with clinical technologists, Digital Directorate, clinicians and external suppliers.
