Job summary

NHS Scotland is recruiting a Systems Support Specialist to join the Clinical Engineering Service at Ninewells Hospital, Dundee. The role supports safe, reliable operation of clinical and technical digital systems across the organisation, including radiotherapy and monitoring systems.

Qualifications

• Degree-level or equivalent knowledge in data networking and operating system technologies.
• Experience providing reliable customer-focused technical support.
• Ability to prioritise complex workloads and resolve technical faults.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day administration, maintenance and technical support for NHS Tayside's networked medical equipment and systems.
• Support computer operations, database administration, hardware and software installation, and network administration.
• Contribute to cybersecurity, software/firmware management, procurement and incident management.
• Collaborate with clinical technologist teams and external suppliers to resolve complex issues.
