An exciting opportunity has arisen for enthusiastic Clinical Support Workers to join our dynamic Dermatology Team working from RLI.

This is a developing service, and we are searching for motivated and enthusiastic individuals. Ideally you would have a background in Dermatology however we welcome applications from any interested candidates.

We are looking for Clinical Support Workers who deliver compassionate, professional and effective person centred care by working within a multidisciplinary team

Main duties of the job

We strive to achieve the best possible outcomes and experiences for our patients and for our staff and we are seeking Clinical Support Workers with those same qualities to continue to deliver the great care that we strive to provide every day.

You will be based at RLI but will be required at times to travel across bay.

There are opportunities to develop your confidence and your clinical skills in a supportive environment, to building and extend your existing managerial and clinical knowledge.

We are committed to continuing professional development of our staff and as part of our Dermatology Team, you will have many opportunities to develop.

The Post holder will be required to support the Clinicians in the clinic environment by acting as a chaperone for patients. They will also be required to partake in some of the Admin duties to ensure the clinics run smoothly. There will be opportunity to train to work within the Biopsy sessions and run the Telederm clinics.

Working for our organisation

We operatefrom three main hospitals-Furness General Hospital (FGH) in Barrow, the Royal Lancaster Infirmary (RLI), and Westmorland General Hospital (WGH) in Kendal, as well as a number of community healthcare premises including Millom Hospital and GP Practice, Queen Victoria Hospital in Morecambe, andUlverstonCommunity Health Centre.

FGH and the RLI have a range of General Hospital services, with full Emergency Departments, Critical/Coronary Care units and various Consultant-led services.

WGH provides a range of General Hospital services, together with an Urgent Treatment Centre, that can help with a range of non-life threatening conditions such as broken bones and minor illnesses.

All three main hospitals provide a range of planned care including outpatients, diagnostics, therapies,daycase and inpatient surgery. In addition, a range of local outreach services and diagnostics are provided from community facilities across Morecambe Bay.
