Job summary

Station Street Surgery and St Nicolas Medical Centre in Coventry seeks an experienced administrative professional to process hospital letters and discharge summaries using Docman and EMIS Web. The role requires clinical coding with SNOMED CT and careful filing to ensure accurate, confidential patient records.

The ideal candidate will have GP practice experience, strong medical terminology knowledge, and the judgement to escalate information for clinical review.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Process hospital letters, discharge summaries and clinical reports using Docman and EMIS Web.
• Code correspondence using SNOMED CT.
• File documents and allocate them to the appropriate clinician or team.
• Identify and elevate correspondence that needs clinical review.
• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure confidentiality.
• Manage document workflows per practice protocols.
