Job description
About the Team

Our practice is home to a skilled, close-knit team who bring a wealth of experience and a genuine passion for what they do. Our nursing team has over 40 years of qualified experience, spanning first opinion practice, referral hospitals and charity work.

Our client care colleagues bring 20 years of customer service experience in veterinary medicine, confidently handling all situations while ensuring clients always feel supported.

We’re committed to continuous development, with regular in-house and external CPD. Two of our receptionists are currently training to become VCAs, our HRVN is studying towards a certificate in radiology, and one of our vets is working towards a certificate in small animal dentistry. This culture of growth and teamwork means you’ll be supported not just as a clinician, but also as a leader, with colleagues who are eager to learn, adapt, and succeed together.

About the Role

We’re looking for an experienced Veterinary Surgeon who is confident across all aspects of small animal first opinion practice and routine surgery/medicine. You don’t need previous Clinical Lead experience — we’ll provide support as you step into this leadership role — but we are looking for someone with clinical confidence, excellent communication skills, and a collaborative approach. An interest in surgery, or a desire to further develop surgical skills, would be particularly welcome.

  • Salary up to £70,000 DOE + £5,000 welcome/relocation bonus
  • Flexible working: full or part-time hours considered
  • 1:4 Saturdays on a rota basis
  • A clear career pathway with opportunities for progression and funded CPD, including support for certificates
