Job summary

Avery Park Care Home in the Avery Healthcare group is seeking a Clinical Lead to support the Home Manager across day-to-day operations, ensuring residents’ wellbeing and acting as the main point of contact for families and health and social care professionals. The role covers staff rotas, appraisals and ordering of care supplies.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in care for care homes or equivalent.
• Nursing qualification.
• Current NMC registration (NMC PIN).
• At least two years' experience in a similar care environment.
• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Support the Home Manager across all aspects of home management.
• Provide a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for residents and visitors.
• Monitor each resident's wellbeing and report changes affecting care and care plans.
• Act as the focal point for contact with residents, relatives, visitors and health and social care professionals.
• Prepare the staff duty rota to maintain appropriate staffing levels.
• Appraise staff.
• Advise on the supply and quality of care items and order replacements in good time.
