Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group’s Bagshot Gardens Care Home is seeking a bank Registered Nurse to act as person in charge and stand in for the Manager when needed. You will oversee daily nursing tasks, including medication administration, dressings, catheterisation, and tube feeding, while ensuring residents receive high standard care.

The role requires current NMC registration, at least two years’ experience, and a DBS check funded by the employer.

Qualifications

• Current NMC registration is required.
• DBS disclosure check funded by employer.
• Two years' minimum nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as person in charge and stand in for the Manager when required.
• Ensure high standards of care for residents.
• Carry out nursing tasks including medication, dressings, catheterisation, and tube feeding.
• Deploy and supervise care staff to ensure tasks are completed and residents receive required care.
• Carry out accurate assessment and care planning.
• Inform families and GPs of changes in residents' condition and involve them in care decisions.
