Job summary

Avery Healthcare Group is seeking a Clinical Lead for Darwin Court Care Home in the United Kingdom. You will support the Home Manager, oversee resident wellbeing and act as the main contact for residents, relatives and health professionals.

You will handle rota planning, staff appraisal and ordering of supplies. A current NMC registration and NVQ Level 3 in care for care homes, plus at least two years in a similar setting, are required.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe, caring, stimulating and homely environment for residents and visitors
• Support the Home Manager across all aspects of home management
• Monitor each resident's wellbeing and note changes that affect care and care plans
• Act as the focal point for contact with residents, relatives, visitors and health and social care professionals
• Prepare the staff duty rota to keep staffing at appropriate levels
• Appraise staff
• Advise on the supply and quality of items used for tasks and order replacements in good time
