Job summary

South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Clinical Lead for Barnsley CAMHS Crisis and Intensive Home-Based Treatment Team to provide clinical leadership, supervision and guidance across the team.

The role requires extensive CAMHS experience, risk management, and the ability to co-ordinate shifts and service improvements. Band 7, salary £49,387–£56,515, permanent, full-time, based at New Street Health Centre, Barnsley.

Qualifications

• Nursing qualification and registration with NMC.
• Post-qualification training in identified portfolio (e.g. LD, LAC, eating disorders).
• A teaching and assessing qualification.
• Membership of professional body - NMC.

Responsibilities

• Provide highly specialist skills in child and adolescent mental health care.
• Undertake highly specialist initial assessments and risk assessments.
• Deliver intensive interventions with young people and families.
• Lead and deputise for the team leader when required.
• Promote safeguarding and the welfare of children and young people.
