Job summary

South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Lead Clinician to join the CAMHS ReACH Team (Crisis Team) in Wakefield. The role combines clinical leadership with direct practice, managing a small caseload while providing supervision and clinical oversight across the service.

You will work with the Team Manager and leadership group to maintain high clinical standards, drive improvements and shape service development, including risk management and decision making in crisis

Qualifications

• Senior mental health professional with NHS CAMHS experience.
• Ability to provide supervision and clinical oversight.
• Experience managing risk and crisis in a multi-disciplinary team.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership within the team.
• Hold a small complex clinical caseload.
• Offer clinical supervision and mentoring to MDT members.
• Provide expert assessment, formulation and risk management guidance.
• Support Team Manager with delivery, governance and quality improvement.
• Promote evidence-based practice and high clinical standards.
• Contribute to service development and inter-agency collaboration.
• Support staff wellbeing and team culture.
