The South West Yorkshire Partnership NHS Trust is seeking a Senior Mental Health Practitioner (Lead Clinician) to join the CAMHS ReACH Team in Wakefield. This fixed-term role (12 months) combines clinical leadership with direct therapeutic work, managing a small caseload and overseeing junior staff.

You will guide risk assessment, crisis management and service development, ensuring high standards of care for children, young people and families while working with a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifikationen

• Experience working with children, young people and families in mental health settings.

• Evidence-based practice and risk assessment expertise in crisis care.

Aufgaben

• Provide clinical leadership within the CAMHS ReACH Team and lead on service delivery.
• Hold a small complex caseload and ensure frontline practice remains connected.
• Offer clinical supervision, mentoring and support to MDT members.
• Provide expert assessment, formulation, risk management and crisis intervention.
• Contribute to quality improvement, governance and service development.
