Job summary

Black Country Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust in Sandwell is seeking an enthusiastic RMN or RNLD to join the CAMHS Crisis Intervention Home Treatment Team as a Band 6 nurse. You will coordinate shifts and support the clinical lead to provide safe, effective care across home and community settings in a 7-day service (08:00–20:00).

Qualifications

• Essential: NMC registration or equivalent.
• Essential: Proven post-qualification experience.
• Essential: Experience of working with children and young people with mental health problems.
• Essential: CAMHS experience.
• Desirable: Post Basic Courses / Study Days.
• Desirable: Ability to carry out comprehensive assessments and manage risk.
• Desirable: Flexibility in response to service needs.
• Desirable: Team player and supporting junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day delivery of the Crisis Intervention/Home Treatment service (incl. Paediatric Liaison and CAMHS 136)
• Keep the Service Manager/Clinical Lead informed of significant day-to-day issues
• Contribute to clinical management of a caseload with complex needs using CPA and client-centred approaches
• Support care coordination within Tier 3 teams and feed back to the wider team
