Job summary

The Band 7 Advanced Clinical Lead in the Crisis Resolution Home Treatment Team at Cambridgeshire and Peterborough NHS Foundation Trust provides high‑level clinical leadership, conducts specialist assessments for adults in crisis, and ensures safeguarding responsibilities are met across the community.

The role involves developing formulations with colleagues, supervising practitioners, and guiding treatment plans, while maintaining professional standards and contributing to service development.

Qualifications

• Degree or equivalent professional qualification.
• Evidence of relevant post-qualification training in risk management.
• Non-medical prescribing or AMHP qualification with current practice.

Responsibilities

• Deliver ongoing specialist assessments of adults referred to and under the care of the CRHTT.
• Establish and deliver individual and group clinical supervision to CRHT practitioners under Trust policy.
• Develop formulations of presenting problems that integrate assessments with other team members.
• Implement a range of interventions for individuals, carers, families and groups.
• Provide specialist advice, guidance and consultation to other professionals on formulation, diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Undertake risk assessment and risk management, including for vulnerable adults.
• Act as lead clinician for safeguarding of vulnerable adults assessments and advise service users and mental health professionals.
• Advise the Modern Matron and Team Managers on evaluating team work, including developing outcome measures.
• Use research skills for audit, policy and service development within the team's area.
• Support other teams and services on treatment and referral pathways, and contribute advanced formulation input to complex cases.
• Work autonomously within professional guidelines and team policies and procedures.
• Travel independently around the county to meet strict time deadlines.
