Job description

Role Overview

Working with the Home Manager and Quality Assurance team, the Clinical Lead will be responsible for ensuring effective and safe clinical practice, monitoring standards via audits and observations, reviewing policies, implementing action plans, and providing reports as required.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Upholding the values of Inspire Neurocare and leading the Clinical and Care teams.
  2. Providing leadership, support, and supervision for clinical and care staff as advised by the Home Manager.
  3. Participating in on-call duties as required.
  4. Researching, devising, and delivering training modules and workshops to improve care delivery.
  5. Providing feedback on staff performance and areas for improvement.
  6. Supporting the Home Manager with clinical assessments and stakeholder liaising.
  7. Leading team and clinical review meetings.
  8. Ensuring effective and safe clinical practice in collaboration with QA teams.
  9. Carrying out investigations and responding to complaints or concerns.
Candidate Requirements
  • Registered Nurse with valid NMC Pin and post-registration experience.
  • Managing or mentoring experience.
  • Experience in a Senior Nurse or staff nurse role in a care home setting is desirable.
  • People management experience.
  • Organised and committed approach.
  • Excellent communication skills.
