A leading NHS Trust in the UK seeks a Clinical Governance Advisor to provide expert support on patient safety and quality of care. This role involves collaborating with clinical teams, leading governance projects, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. The ideal candidate will drive improvements in patient safety and clinical effectiveness across multiple service lines.
The postholder will provide expert advice and support to Borough and Clinical Directors, Service Managers, and Heads of Service on patient safety, clinical effectiveness, and quality of care. The focus will be on ensuring incidents and patient feedback are reported, reviewed, and shared for learning in line with best practices.
The role involves supporting a dynamic portfolio of clinical governance, patient safety, and patient feedback services to implement the West London NHS Trust Quality and Patient Safety Strategy and comply with relevant policies and statutory requirements.
Working collaboratively within the Clinical Governance Team, the postholder will deliver expert patient safety and experience support specifically to Hounslow Borough mental health services. Additionally, the role requires working across boroughs and service lines, leading key Trust-wide clinical governance projects as directed by their line manager.
