Job summary

Doncaster & Bassetlaw NHS FT seeks a Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia with an interest in Trauma and Acute Pain. This permanent MT04 post offers 40 hours per week plus on-call duties across Doncaster Royal Infirmary and associated sites.

You will consolidate clinical experience to prepare for ST4 Anaesthesia training while contributing to a high-volume anaesthetic service. The role includes obstetric anaesthesia, critical care, teaching, and opportunities to pursue subspecialty interests

Qualifications

• MBChB/MBBS or equivalent.
• FRCA Part 1 or equivalent.
• Applicants must have full GMC registration andLicence to Practise.

Responsibilities

• Provide safe anaesthetic care across theatres, critical care and obstetrics.
• Participate in elective and emergency operating lists.
• Contribute to management of patients within critical care units.
• Provide obstetric anaesthesia including labour ward and emergency cover.
• Participate in the full shift on-call rota, including nights and weekends.
• Tailor daytime clinical activity to subspecialty interests where service allows.
