Doncaster and Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is seeking a Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia with an interest in trauma and acute pain. The post is permanent and based across Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital and Montagu Hospital.

The successful candidate will consolidate and develop clinical experience in anaesthesia to prepare for ST4 training, join a supportive department, and contribute to a wide range of procedures with access to supervision, teaching sessions,

Qualifications

• MBchB/MBBS or equivalent required.
• FRCA Part 1 or equivalent required.
• GMC registration and Licence to Practise required.
• Higher qualification in Anaesthesia (e.g., EDRA, subspeciality fellowship) advantageous.
• Initial Assessment of Anaesthetic Competency completed.
• Initial Assessment of Obstetric Anaesthesia Competence completed.

Responsabilités

• Provide safe and effective anaesthetic care across theatres, critical care and obstetrics.
• Participate in elective and emergency operating lists.
• Contribute to the management of patients within critical care units.
• Provide obstetric anaesthesia including labour ward and emergency cover.
• Participate in the full shift on-call rota, including nights and weekends.
• Work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Formation

MBchB/MBBS or equivalent

FRCA Part 1 or equivalent

GMC registration and Licence to Practise

Higher qualification in Anaesthesia (e.g., EDRA, subspeciality fellowship)

Initial Assessment of Anaesthetic Competency completed
