Doncaster & Bassetlaw Teaching Hospitals NHS FT seeks a Clinical Fellow in Anaesthesia with an interest in Trauma and Acute Pain. The post supports development toward ST4 training, with across-site experience at Doncaster Royal Infirmary, Bassetlaw Hospital and Montagu Hospital.

The role provides structured supervision, dedicated learning time, and opportunities to pursue subspecialty experience (e.g., trauma, vascular, obstetrics, pain) within a supportive Trust environment.

Qualifications

• MBChB/MBBS or equivalent is required.
• FRCA Part 1 or equivalent is required.
• Full GMC registration and Licence to Practise are essential.
• Higher qualification in Anaesthesia (e.g., EDRA) or subspecialty fellowship is desirable.

Responsabilités

• Delivery of anaesthetic care across theatres, critical care and obstetrics.
• Participation in elective and emergency operating lists.
• Support in critical care units and obstetric anaesthesia cover.
• Engagement in teaching and supervision of trainees and junior staff.
• Act in accordance with national guidelines and contribute to audit and quality improvement projects.

Formation

GMC registration and Licence to Practise
