Job summary

Caring Homes is seeking a Clinical Deputy Manager for Benson House in Wallingford. The role combines clinical leadership with management duties in a 70-bed home, offering a salary up to £55,000 per annum plus benefits.

40 hours per week with a 50/50 clinical and supervisory split, and a requirement to hold a valid NMC pin. You will lead nursing and care staff, develop personalised care plans, and ensure regulatory standards are met while supporting residents and their families with

Qualifications

  • Qualified Nurse with a valid NMC Pin.
  • Proven experience in a clinical leadership role.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Home Manager in the day-to-day running of the nursing home.
  • Ensure the highest standards of care are maintained, meeting regulatory and company standards.
  • Develop and implement personalised care plans in collaboration with residents, families, and the healthcare team.
  • Lead, mentor, and support nursing and care staff to deliver exceptional care.
  • Conduct regular assessments and audits to maintain and improve care standards.
  • Act as a point of contact for residents, families, and external healthcare professionals in the absence of the Home Manager.
