Job summary

Jupiter Recruitment is seeking a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to join a premier care home in the Diss area, near Ipswich. You will lead nursing and care teams and deputise for the Home Manager, ensuring high standards of clinical and pastoral care.

The role focuses on residents with complex needs, requires strong governance, and daily involvement in care planning, audits and relationship-building with families and professionals. A current NMC PIN is essential.

Qualifications

• Qualified as a Registered Nurse with an active NMC PIN.
• Experience as a Deputy/Home Manager preferred.
• Strong leadership and governance capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Support and deputise for the Home Manager and lead nursing/care teams.

An exciting new job opportunity has arisen for a committed Nurse Deputy Home Manager to work in an exceptional care home based in the Diss, Ipswich area. You will be working for one of UK's leading health care providers

This special care home provides care and support to residential, respite and residential dementia individuals

As the Deputy Manager your key responsibilities include:

• Supporting and deputising for the Home Manager, you will provide inspiring leadership to nursing and care colleagues and oversee the delivery of high quality clinical and pastoral care
• You will be the homes nurse expert and your role will be a combination of utilising your nursing skills as well as your managerial and leadership skills
• You will focus on residents with complex needs, so it's vital that you can conform with the latest guidelines, take far-reaching decisions and maintain the highest levels of clinical governance, whilst regularly auditing practices and procedures
• Care plan development and assessments
• Look after all our residents alongside the team and offer personalised centred care

The following skills and experience would be preferred and beneficial for the role:

• Previous Deputy Home Manager experience
• The ability to engage with the service users to understand their needs in order to provide excellent services of care
• Good working knowledge of CQC standards
• The ability to build and maintain excellent working relationships with external care professionals, families, visitors and staffing teams
• Good clinical skills
• Promote ownership of care programs by fully involving service users and their families in developing, agreeing and evaluating care programs within the home

**To be considered for this role you must be qualified as a Registered Nurse with a current active NMC Pin**

The successful Deputy Manager will receive an excellent salary of £45,000 per annum. This exciting position is a permanent full time role for 40 hours a week working through day shifts. In return for your hard work and commitment you will receive the following generous benefits:
