Job summary

Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is recruiting an experienced Clinical Coder to join our established Coding Team. You will work with ICD-10 and OPCS-4 classifications, ensure accurate data for clinical governance and national tariff payments, and interact with clinicians and staff to manage your workload.

The role requires at least 2 years' coding experience and knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in clinical coding using ICD-10 and OPCS-4.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

Responsibilities

• The Clinical Coding Team extracts and translates inpatient information using ICD-10 and OPCS-4.
• Interact with clinicians and operational staff; manage own workload while ensuring coding quality.
• Contribute to governance, audit, and research through accurate coded data.
