Job summary

Mitie Landscapes is seeking a skilled Climbing Arborist to join our team in Birmingham. You will lead tree works across urban and woodland settings, prioritising safety and efficient operations.

The role requires a minimum of two years in arboriculture, a full clean driving licence, and NPTC CS30/CS31/CS38/CS39 qualifications; progression and training are encouraged.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Arboriculture.
• Full driving licence essential; trailer licence desirable.
• NPTC qualifications CS30 (201/202), CS31 (203), CS38 (206), CS39 (306/308) required.
• An Arb qualification or willingness to progress with a recognised qualification would be desirable.
• Strong commitment to hard work, reliability, and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles, using and maintaining arboricultural equipment safely.
• Ensure time reliability and professional performance.
• Adhere strictly to Health and Safety RAMS & POWRA.
• Promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Utilise smartphone-based systems to report work activity accurately.

Role Overview

As a Climbing arborist, you will be an essential part of our daily Arboricultural operations, contributing to the successful completion of various tree works across urban and woodland settings. You will be a dynamic team player with excellent operational awareness. As a motivated individual, your initiative and coherence with all H&S WFH protocols will be essential in maintaining our comprehensive safety standards
