Job summary

Mitie Landscapes is seeking an Arboricultural Surveyor/Manager to deliver high-quality tree care solutions across urban and woodland settings within our Grounds Maintenance and Winter Services business. The role offers personal development paths toward managerial positions and opportunities for upskilling.

The successful candidate will conduct condition surveys, produce reports, assist with cost estimates and risk assessments, and may manage subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Experience within Arboriculture, surveying, reporting.
• Full driving license.
• LANTRA Personal Tree Inspector qualification.
• Motivated, organized and professional attitude.
• Experience of tree management software and GIS is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Carry out tree condition surveys and prepare reports.
• Perform decay detection and veteran tree management.
• Prepare home buyers tree reports and woodland management plans.
• Assist with costing estimates for tree works.
• Assist with risk assessments and related reports.
• Manage sub-contractor relationships.

Rate of Pay/Salary: £19.00-£22.00 depending on experience

Location: regional - South England - Surrey, Hampshire, Berkshire

Responsibilities

• Delivering a variety of services including:
• Condition surveys and associated reports, decay detection, de-compaction works and veteran tree management, home buyers tree reports, woodland management and development.
• Undertaking tree condition surveys,
• Assisting with costing estimates for tree works,
• Assisting with risk assessments and production associated reports,
• Sub-contractor management

Requirements

• Experience within Arboriculture, surveying, reporting
• Full driving license
• LANTRA – Personal Tree Inspector
• Motivated, organised and professional attitude
• Experience of tree management software and GIS is desirable
