Mitie Landscapes is seeking an experienced climbing Arborist for permanent, full-time work in Surrey. The role pays £16.00–£18.00 per hour with a 40-hour week and requires a full UK driving licence.

The candidate will join a team delivering high-quality tree care across urban and woodland settings, adhering to strict safety standards and RAMS/POWRA. Relevant NPTC qualifications and a willingness to progress are valued.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Arboriculture.
• Full UK Driving Licence is essential; trailer licence desirable.
• NPTC qualifications CS30/CS31/CS38/CS39 are required.
• Arb qualifications or willingness to progress with a recognised qualification desirable.
• Strong commitment to hard work, reliability and safety.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles and maintain arboricultural equipment safely.
• Ensure time reliability and professional performance.

Role Overview

As a Climbing arborist, you will be an essential part of our daily Arboricultural operations, contributing to the successful completion of various tree works across urban and woodland settings. You will be a dynamic team player with excellent operational awareness. As a motivated individual, your initiative and coherence with all H&S WFH protocols will be essential in maintaining our comprehensive safety standards

Responsibilities

• Operating company vehicles, using & maintaining Arboricultural equipment efficiently and safely.
• Ensuring time reliability and Professional performance.
• Adhere strictly to Health and Safety RAMS & POWRA.
• Promoting a culture of safety within the team.
• Utilise smartphone-based operating systems to report work activity accurately.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Arboriculture, a full driving license is essential; trailer license desirable.
• Relevant NPTC qualifications including CS30 (201/202), CS31 (203), CS38 (206), CS39 (306/308).
• An Arb qualification or willingness to progress with a recognised qualification would be desirable.
