Job summary

idverde is seeking two experienced Arborists to join a newly formed team in Barnsley. The role offers an hourly rate of up to £19.00, with a 40-hour week from Monday to Friday, and a permanent contract. Candidates must hold climbing arborist qualifications and a full UK driving licence.

We provide extensive training through our apprenticeship programmes and in-house academy, plus a comprehensive benefits package. DBS within 6 months is advantageous and may be arranged for the right person.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working in a Climbing Arborist position.
• Awareness of safety protocols and procedures is critical to ensure the well-being of both the surveyor and others in the vicinity of trees being assessed.
• Qualifications such as Level 3 Maintenance (CS30/CS31), Level 3 Climb Trees and Perform Aerial Rescue (CS38), Level 2 Operate a Chain Saw from a Rope and Harness (CS39), Level 3 Aerial Tree Rigging (CS41).
• Full UK Driving License.
• Eye for detail and willingness to learn.
• A valid DBS, dated within the last 6 months, would be a huge benefit. But one can be obtained by idverde for the right person.

About the role

We provide a range of Arboricultural Operations including tree removals, crown thinning/reductions/lifting, deadwooding and tree planting, as well as ongoing tree maintenance. We are now looking for two talented and experienced Arborists, to build a new team in Barnsley.

Requirements
