Job summary

Mitie Landscapes is seeking an experienced Arboricultural Surveyor/Consultant in Southampton for a permanent, full-time role (40 hours/week). You will join a professional team delivering tree care across urban and woodland settings, following H&S RAMS/POWRA protocols.

The position offers a driver-friendly environment with opportunities for MEWP/IPAF training and career progression. Overtime and occasional overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Arboriculture.
• Full driving license is essential; trailer license desirable.
• Arb qualification or willingness to progress with a recognised qualification would be desirable.

Responsibilities

• Operate company vehicles and maintain Arboricultural equipment safely and efficiently.
• Ensure time reliability and professional performance.
• Adhere to Health and Safety RAMS & POWRA.
• Promote a culture of safety within the team.
• Use smartphone-based systems to report work activity accurately.
• Complete Tree Surveys/Reports across the South of UK to assist Arboricultural Team.

As we continue to expand, we are seeking an experienced climbing Arborist to join our highly motivated Professional dynamic team.

Role OverviewAs a Climbing arborist, you will be an essential part of our daily Arboricultural operations, contributing to the successful completion of various tree works across urban and woodland settings. You will be a dynamic team player with excellent operational awareness. As a motivated individual, your initiative and coherence with all H&S WFH protocols will be essential in maintaining our comprehensive safety standards

Responsibilities

• Operating company vehicles, using & maintaining Arboricultural equipment efficiently and safely.

• Adhere strictly to Health and Safety RAMS & POWRA.
• Promoting a culture of safety within the team.

• Completing Tree Surveys/Reports across the South of UK assisting with the Arboricultural Team

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years' experience in Arboriculture, a full driving license is essential; trailer license desirable.
• PTI Inspection as a minimum.
• An Arb qualification or willingness to progress with a recognised qualification would be desirable.
• Strong commitment to hard work, reliability, and safety.
• Willingness to undergo further training and career development within the industry
