Role Overview

You will provide efficient service to a portfolio of clients regarding their healthcare schemes, including Private Medical Insurance, Dental, Travel, Cash Plans, Health Screening, and Employee Assistance Programmes. Schemes will primarily be Age Rated but may include Experience rated and International Healthcare schemes.

Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Principals will manage client relationships, while Client Service Specialists will support through regular meetings via face-to-face or Teams.

Being well-organized is essential, as this role involves taking instructions from various team members daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support colleagues with their clients’ healthcare schemes, including tasks like understanding PMI market knowledge, client support, query resolution, renewal communication, data updating, and report analysis.
  • Build strong relationships with insurers, suppliers, and internal teams, sharing knowledge and ensuring systems are up to date.
Policy, Process, and Customer Focus
  • Follow relevant processes and suggest improvements collaboratively, ensuring compliance.
  • Provide an exceptional customer experience to enhance retention and cross-selling opportunities.
Market Knowledge & Technology
  • Stay updated on market trends and understand the technology platforms used to deliver client solutions.
Compliance & Personal Development
  • Maintain high standards of governance, operational excellence, and ethical conduct. Complete relevant regulatory training and keep HR and training records current.
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
  • Understanding of UK healthcare policies, proficiency in Microsoft Office, and attention to detail.
  • Experience in administration, ideally within Employee Benefits or Insurance sectors; CII IF7 qualification is preferred but supported for training.
