Role Overview

You will provide efficient service to a portfolio of clients regarding their healthcare schemes, including Private Medical Insurance, Dental, Travel, Cash Plans, Health Screening, and Employee Assistance Programmes. The schemes will mainly be Age Rated but may include Experience rated and International Healthcare schemes.

Consultants, Senior Consultants, and Principals will manage client relationships, supported by Client Service Specialists who will provide assistance, including regular face-to-face and Teams meetings.

This role requires strong organizational skills as it involves taking instructions from various team members daily.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support colleagues with their clients’ healthcare schemes, including PMI and other healthcare products.
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of the PMI market and healthcare propositions.
  • Provide excellent client support and promptly handle queries or issues.
  • Manage healthcare scheme renewals and assist with insurer switches.
  • Update reporting documents for MI purposes and support data analysis and client report reviews.
  • Build and maintain relationships with insurer/supplier contacts and internal teams.
  • Ensure systems are up-to-date for client portfolios.
Policies, Processes, and Customer Focus
  • Follow relevant processes and suggest improvements collaboratively.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to enhance retention and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Work closely with the Client Service Manager to ensure proper administration of policies.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to foster loyalty and retention.
Market Knowledge & Technology
  • Stay informed about market trends and expand your knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate client data and utilize technology platforms effectively.
Compliance & Personal Development
  • Undertake personal development and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Keep HR and training records updated and operate ethically and professionally.
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience
  • Understanding of group healthcare policies, especially UK PMI, Dental, Cash Plans, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Ownership, organization, attention to detail, and a proactive attitude are essential.
  • Experience in administration and ideally in Employee Benefits or Insurance sectors.
  • CII IF7 qualification is preferred but supported for training.
