The Client Retention Manager will be responsible for supporting and driving the company's client retention strategies within the Physical Security sector across the UK. By developing and maintaining strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, the role aims to ensure high customer satisfaction, promote repeat business, and maximise client lifetime value across key industries, including but not limited to Corporate Accounts, Tech, Media & Telecoms, Manufacturing, Education, Retail, Maritime and Aviation, Logistics and Distribution, and Critical National Infrastructure.

What are the main responsibilities?

You will work to strengthen client relationships by actively supporting the management of key existing client relationships, building long-term trust, and ensuring ongoing satisfaction. You will also assist in driving client retention strategies that prioritize client loyalty and engagement, helping to drive repeat business and referrals, as well as identifying new opportunities within existing accounts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating with Operations Teams by working closely with internal teams to ensure clients receive top-tier service, high-quality solutions, and timely support.
  • Supporting contract renewals by assisting in the renewal process, ensuring smooth negotiations, and maintaining strong relationships to secure mutually beneficial terms.
  • Partnering with the Business Development, Commercial, and other departments to align retention strategies with broader company goals and ensure seamless execution.
  • Promoting the company's value proposition by supporting the dissemination of the company's expertise and success stories to strengthen client relationships.
  • Contributing to strategic planning by offering input to the business planning process, identifying client-focused strategies, and exploring new opportunities for growth.

What do you need to be successful?

You should have a proven background in client retention, sales, or business development within the Physical Security sector, with a focus on long-term relationship management. Experience working on workstreams of varied levels and worth up to 5 million GBP is required. Additionally, you will need to possess:

  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence clients and build lasting relationships.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to drive retention efforts and meet targets.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and IT tools such as MS Office and Salesforce.
  • Demonstrated integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior in all client interactions.
