Customer Account Manager/Account Manager/Client Relationship Manager/Key Account Manager/Customer Success Manager – Healthcare & Diagnostics

Location: Field-based near Sheffield (S1–S36) | Occasional travel to Burgess Hill

Start Date: 7th July 2025

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Customer Account Manager to support NHS and healthcare clients in the diagnostics industry. This field-based role focuses on strategic account management, improving the customer experience, and supporting clinical and operational outcomes. Ideal for professionals with experience in healthcare, life sciences, or medical devices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary contact for NHS and healthcare customers in your assigned region
  • Build and manage long-term customer relationships and account plans
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver seamless service and support
  • Identify customer needs using data and insights to drive improvements
  • Oversee the full customer journey, ensuring contract compliance and satisfaction
  • Support renewals, upselling, and service optimisation initiatives

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience as a Customer Account Manager, Key Account Manager, or Client Relationship Manager in healthcare, diagnostics, or medical devices
  • Strong understanding of the UK healthcare system and NHS structures
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and full Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to manage multiple projects across cross-functional teams
  • Based near Sheffield with flexibility to travel occasionally to Burgess Hill
  • Right to work in the UK (no sponsorship provided)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Degree in Life Sciences, Business, or Healthcare Management
  • Experience with diagnostics platforms or medical technology
  • Familiarity with IR35 and working via an umbrella company
