Job summary

Aztec Group is seeking a Client Relationship Manager to administer a portfolio of fund structures and report to the Senior Client Relationship Manager. You will coordinate with legal, tax and advisers to ensure timely, compliant administration and investor reporting.

This role emphasizes building strong client relationships, signatory oversight, and developing staff while offering hybrid working and professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of financial services experience, ideally within the Funds industry.
• A relevant professional qualification, preferably IFA Level 5, or equivalent.
• Strong technical financial services knowledge.
• Proven people management experience.
• Experience managing client relationships.
• Strong interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement.

Responsibilities

• Act as first point of contact for multiple fund structures within a team.
• Coordinate legal, tax and other professional advice.
• Review day-to-day administration matters including calls, distributions, and reporting.
• Attend and run client board and shareholders meetings; review minutes.
• Build relationships with key client contacts and stakeholders.
• Ensure timely data review, distribution, and filing of statements.
• Sign-off on administration matters as a B level 4-eyes signatory.
• Assist with billing information and analysis of time spent.
• Develop and maintain Operating Procedures Manuals and ISAE templates.
• Supervise and assist in training and development of staff.
• Participate in the appraisal process for staff.

About the role:

Reporting to Senior Client Relationship Manager

The purpose of this position is to administer a portfolio of Fund structures in conjunction with the Senior Manager.

Key responsibilities:

• Act as first point of contact for a number of fund structures within a team

• Co-ordinate legal, tax and other professional advice

• Review all aspects of day-to-day administration matters such as calls and distributions, investment transactions and quarterly investor reporting

• Attend and run client board meetings and shareholders meetings and review minutes of those meetings

• Build strong relationships with key client contacts and other key stakeholders

• Ensure the non-numerical data review, distribution and filing of periodic financial statements on a timely basis and in accordance with regulatory guidelines

• Act as “B” level 4-eyes signatory on administration matters, ensuring that company policy and professional and regulatory guidelines are adhered to and that a professional quality service is provided to clients and outside contacts

• Assist with billing information for clients including analysis of time spent, including the management of aged debtors

• Develop and maintain the Operational Procedures Manuals and ISAE checklist templates for client relationships

• Supervise and assist in the training and development of staff

• Participate in the appraisal process for members of staff

Skills, knowledge, expertise:

• 4+ years of financial services experience, ideally within the Funds industry

• A relevant professional qualification, preferably IFA Level 5, or equivalent

• Sound technical financial services knowledge (to be supported through the Aztec Academy)

• Proven people management experience

• Evidence of managing a small client relationship or part of a major client relationship

• Good interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts
