Job description

I am exclusively partnered with a Global Alternative Asset Manager with a 35-year track record. They currently manage just under $90bn across Corporate Strategies, Real Assets Strategies, and Credit Strategies.

The Client Relations Manager will report to one of the Client Relations Managing Directors and will serve as a senior resource in a key role in providing support for fundraising and ongoing client relationship management activities. You will need 5-7 years of similar experience in a Client Servicing/Relationship Management function.

Responsibilities:
  1. Acting as an effective product specialist for a strategy, building an understanding of strategy and the underlying markets and communicating this across stakeholders.
  2. Coordinating new fund launches, including strategic planning and project managing steps from initiation through to fundraising, interfacing with various groups within the firm.
  3. Acting as a key point of contact for marketers and prospective investors/consultants, as well as building relationships with existing investors.
  4. Responsibility for proactive monitoring and development of prospect lists, reporting regularly to internal stakeholders including senior management.
  5. Preparation of high-quality marketing and servicing materials such as standard fund overview presentation decks, RFPs, and DDQs for client proposals and meetings, ensuring that all are delivered diligently, in a timely fashion and of the highest quality.
  6. Utilisation of key fund and market level statistics to develop the market positioning of our strategies/product range, and communicate findings both verbally and in written marketing materials, including thought leadership content created by the strategy's management team.

The candidate will demonstrate strong market and investment knowledge and require strong analytical skills, the ability to provide fresh ideas to shape the marketing approach, and the technical and communication skills to bring those ideas to life. This is a highly visible position within the business, so strong stakeholder management skills are essential.
