Job summary

Addington Ball Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Practice Accountant / Client Manager on the northern side of Leeds to manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed businesses and provide proactive accountancy and tax advice.

You’ll lead and mentor a small team, build trusted client relationships, review accounts for quality and compliance, and contribute to business development through networking while enjoying hybrid working and a supportive environment that values your growth.

Qualifications

• ACA or ACCA qualified, or equivalent.
• Experience managing a portfolio within an accountancy practice.
• Confident communicating with clients and building lasting relationships.
• Enjoys developing and supporting junior team members.
• Strong technical knowledge across accounts and taxation.
• Commercially aware with a proactive approach to client service.
• Audit exposure would be beneficial but is not essential.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied portfolio of owner-managed business clients.
• Build trusted client relationships and provide proactive accountancy and tax advice.
