Job summary

CMR Jobs Limited is seeking a Payroll Coordinator in Birkenhead to join its Payments team. The role focuses on accurate and timely payroll processing for employees and subcontractors, handling payroll queries and ensuring compliance.

You will manage FPS and RTI, pension auto-enrolment, timesheets, and client invoicing, providing high-quality service to employees, subcontractors and clients in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in a payroll environment.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong numerical and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Process employee and subcontractor payments accurately and within set timescales.
• Process statutory payments and manage pension auto-enrolment.
• Ensure accurate calculations and payments to statutory bodies and third-party providers.
• Respond to payroll, administration and tax queries from employees/subcontractors.
• Assist with FPS and ensure RTI compliance.
• Support processing of timesheets and client invoicing.
• Provide clients with up-to-date information and assist wider team with ad hoc duties.
