Job summary

The Business Connection Group is seeking a payroll administrator to oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing for employees and subcontractors. You will ensure payments are accurate and made on time while supporting the Payments Manager and maintaining strong client relationships.

Key responsibilities include processing statutory payments, pension auto‑enrolment, FPS submissions, and responding to payroll queries with precision. Excellent numeracy and Excel skills are essential in this role.

Qualifications

• Experience in payroll processing and administration.
• Strong data entry and reporting skills.
• Excellent numeracy and attention to detail; proficient with Excel.

Responsibilities

• Process employee and subcontractor payments accurately and on time.
• Process statutory payments and manage pension auto-enrolment.
• Ensure accurate calculations to statutory bodies and third‑party providers.
• Handle payroll, administration and tax queries from employees and subcontractors.
• Assist with FPS submission to ensure RTI compliance.
• Support timesheets processing and client invoicing per agency agreements.
• Provide agencies with accurate information on payments and invoices.
• Keep wider business informed of payroll issues.
