Job description

We are seeking a talented individual to join our Education team at Marsh. This role will be based in Haywards Heath. This is a hybrid role that requires working at least three days a week in the office.

You will manage and grow a portfolio of clients and prospective clients across the Education sector. You will identify and develop strategies for each client’s risk management, risk financing, and insurance needs, as well as working with clients to maximize business opportunities and broaden the product offering.

We will count on you to:

  • Manage an allocated portfolio of clients across the Education sector
  • Identify and develop strategies for each client’s risk management, risk financing, and insurance needs
  • Work with clients to maximize business opportunities and broaden the product offering
  • Lead programme design activities through to approval
  • Prepare budget proposals for clients and negotiate fees
  • Host client and insurer meetings with specialist broker and client service teams
  • Deliver best practice, market-leading service and solutions for clients
  • Prospect and acquire new clients

What you need to have:

  • Proven insurance experience, preferably within commercial lines; personal lines experience will also be considered
  • Experience working with education-related clients is beneficial but not essential
  • Strong relationship building and management skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills are beneficial
