Job Description:

This role involves working as part of the Director team to manage the Jersey Funds Service Line, overseeing a team responsible for client services related to fund clients, including regulated and unregulated structures. You will support business development, develop and implement strategies, and drive financial performance through monitoring KPIs. The role also includes taking operational responsibility for teams, fostering a positive culture, and leading in originating new business opportunities.

Main responsibilities include:

Client:

  • Managing administration and service for entities under supervision, acting as the main client contact, and developing new business opportunities.
  • Ensuring high standards of client service, meeting deadlines, liaising with internal teams and external third parties.
  • Acting as a director on client boards and other entities as required.
  • Building positive, long-lasting client relationships.

People:

  • Managing, motivating, recruiting, and developing staff.
  • Embodies Ocorian values and promotes a high-performance culture.

Financial:

  • Managing team fees, ensuring accurate and timely billing, and maintaining margins.
  • Participating in fee reviews and managing WIP and aged debt.
  • Identifying and developing new business opportunities, including cross-selling and onboarding new clients.

Operational:

  • Implementing strategic and business plans.
  • Utilizing technology to enhance client services.
  • Ensuring compliance with policies and procedures, managing risks, and handling breaches or complaints.
  • Contributing to operational process improvements and participating in new client onboarding.

Qualifications include a minimum of 10 years in fiduciary administration or financial services, with at least 5 in a management role, and relevant professional qualifications. The candidate should have experience acting as a director on client boards and possess strong technical, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
