Job description

The role is a new position within the existing Commercial team, reporting to the Commercial Director. Approximately 70% of the role involves sourcing and establishing contact with new businesses and brands where ONEHealth currently has no presence, to initiate sales of our services. The remaining 30% focuses on managing a small portfolio of existing accounts, leading on all commercial aspects including annual tactical planning, regular meetings with the Media and Account Management teams, and maximizing opportunities for both ONEHealth and clients.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Business understanding: Understand clients’ sectors, monitor competitors, and gain insights into their needs to tailor our services effectively.
  2. Commercial acumen: Identify client needs and align our offerings accordingly.
  3. Proposal generation: Seek new business opportunities, especially in the pharma sector, and lead proposal development with the team.
  4. Lead generation: Use platforms like LinkedIn and attend industry events to develop new leads.
  5. Closing business: Negotiate and close deals effectively.
  6. Forecasting: Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide ongoing forecasts.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of commercial experience in healthcare marketing or pharmaceutical sectors, delivering multi-channel digital solutions.
  • Existing network within pharma/healthcare markets.
  • Confidence in presenting to clients and generating face-to-face meetings.
  • Proactive, ambitious, and results-driven.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Consultative selling approach with stakeholder rapport-building skills.
  • Knowledge of the ABPI code of conduct.
