As Client Development Director, you will have commercial responsibility for the business development of a portfolio of our existing subscription clients, including managing renewals and driving expansion.

The role is vital to the company's overall growth strategy. You will work as part of a small sales team, collaborating on opportunities. The role requires working at pace, under tight deadlines, with targets to meet or exceed.

Key responsibilities include:

Client Renewals

  • Manage the renewal process for annual subscription clients, maintaining relationships through regular reviews.
  • Collaborate with the Collab Team to assess client health and demonstrate value.
  • Engage clients early for renewal planning and growth opportunities.
  • Prepare proposals, negotiate terms, and liaise with procurement.

Client Expansion

  • Identify growth opportunities and develop account plans.
  • Support the sales cycle for expansion opportunities, building relationships at multiple levels.
  • Create tools and collateral to showcase offerings and drive expansion.
  • Manage deals from identification to negotiation, ensuring pipeline growth.

General

  • Collaborate across teams to support deals and revenue tracking.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of sales strategies and processes.
  • Promote a positive team culture and advocate for community-led growth.
